One Year

This day last year I got married. At the expense of sounding very cliched, i have to say that time has truly flown. As I sit down today, I cannot believe that it has been one whole year since that day.

A lot of water has flown under the bridge since. A lot has changed and many things have been achieved. I live in a different country now, have spent a lot of time last year travelling around Europe, work in a good role with some nice people.

The best abour last year has been Sid ( as it should be also) He puts up with a lot of drama that i do, makes up when we fight, makes sure all my paper work is done, helps me with cleaning and is in most cases a sweet heart :)

Most importantly, last year on 17th of November, we became man and wife. Today we are not only that but also, more importantly, better friends.

So, here it is to my husband of one year.

Happy Wedding Anniversary, Sid

fight and make up a lot...(I mean the small ones, not like you poke knife in his stomach etc.:) )
because that helps anyone understand the other person a lot better than one thinks!

even at this age, when I am on the other side of 50, my wife and I fight some times, but after we make up, we grow more closer than before. it is just as important to spend time away from each other as it is to spend time together.. a fight here and there gives you that away time and to look back and retrospect...

sorry for the thesis on fights :), but it is just that my retrospection yields that, fights have been an important part of my life all through...

apart from that, read through your blog a bit, you sound to be a very sweet kid, writing from the heart, loved every bit of it. Sid for sure is a lucky kid...

just a smile looking into eyes, that reassuring tap on the knuckles when one is down, holding hands while you walk, that unexpected hug and a warm peck on the forehead, reading out those lines of a book you cherished the most just for your better half, letting go of that ego just when absolutely not expected.... a lot of small things that I can recollect, my wife has been an angel...

May God Bless you R and Sid, stay happy... kids
